About the role
Stryker is hiring a Powder Coater I for a weekend shift in Portage. The role covers powder coating operations that prepare components, including sub-assemblies, for a variety of products. The schedule is Friday and Saturday 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday 5:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., onsite.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare components using paints and powder operations, including sub-assemblies and related parts.
- Unload parts, part racks and hooks from the line while visually inspecting completed parts.
- Apply painting and/or powder processes according to product specifications.
- Set paint and powder equipment to the right tolerances, color and feed rate.
- Handle work preparation, clean-up and quality assurance of your own work and work area.
- Meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends.
- Lift, push and pull 50+ lbs throughout the shift.
Required profile
- High school or GED preferred.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to meet the weekend schedule and overtime requirements.
What we offer
- $20.75 per hour plus a $2.00 per hour shift differential.
