Postgres Product Engineer

About the role

Render is building a modern cloud platform for developers of AI‑native, full‑stack applications. The Postgres Product Engineer will own end‑to‑end projects for the company’s Postgres service, ensuring it scales reliably for millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Render Postgres fleet at scale.
• Collaborate with design, product, engineering and cross‑functional stakeholders to evolve the product.
• Participate in team planning, road‑mapping, goal‑setting and on‑call duties.
• Help shape team culture and introduce new capabilities as the service grows.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in a high‑growth startup.
• Strong sense of ownership and pragmatic decision‑making.
• Experience working in distributed systems and operating Postgres at scale.
