About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join Dr. Marcela Diaz's lab. This fixed‑term research position provides practical training in tumor immunology, cell therapy, and immunomonitoring within a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

Design and execute independent research projects, generate and analyze data, and prepare manuscripts for publication.
Assist with experimental design, grant preparation, and data presentation.
Collaborate with lab members on immunology studies, including immune‑suppressive networks in cancer.

Required profile

PhD or MD/PhD in a relevant scientific discipline; MD with laboratory experience may substitute for PhD.
Demonstrated commitment to research, strong written and verbal communication, and prior experience in an academic or research setting.
Proficiency in English (proof of proficiency required for certain visa statuses).

Required skills

Background in immunology, preferably tumor immunology.
Expertise in molecular biology techniques.
Experience with data analysis and scientific writing.
