Post Graduate Fellow – Endocrinology Research (6 months)

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Post Graduate Fellow to join Dr. Elena Ambrogini’s laboratory for a six‑month research project in Endocrinology and Metabolism. This visiting‑student position provides hands‑on experience in a collaborative academic‑clinical environment, supporting both UAMS and the VA.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct experimental work related to endocrine and metabolic pathways.
• Collect, process, and analyze research data.
• Collaborate with lab members and clinical staff to integrate findings.
• Prepare progress reports and present results at team meetings.
• Maintain compliance with safety and ethical standards, including COVID‑19 vaccination requirements.

Required profile

• Current PhD student enrolled at the University of Pisa.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States on the start date.
• Proof of full COVID‑19 vaccination or an approved exemption.
• Strong interest in endocrine and metabolic research.
