About the role

The State of Georgia seeks a Post Doctoral Fellow to work under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. This role involves diagnosing and evaluating behavioral, emotional, and cognitive disorders, and contributing to treatment and research initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and evaluate behavioral, emotional, and cognitive disorders through observation, interview, and psychological testing.
• Apply psychological theory to develop and administer treatment programs, including counseling and therapy.
• Conduct research activities related to mental health and treatment outcomes.
• Support clients in maintaining and enhancing physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and interpersonal functioning.

Required profile

• Doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA‑accredited institution.
• Completion of an APA‑approved psychology internship.
• Ability to work under supervision of a licensed psychologist.
