Portfolio Manager – Government Partnerships (DARPA & ARPA-H)

About the role

LilaLila Sciences is building the world’s first scientific superintelligence platform. As a Portfolio Manager within Government Partnerships, you will bridge the company’s autonomous‑science roadmap with key public‑sector agencies, initially focusing on DARPA and ARPA‑H.

Key responsibilities

• Own and nurture Lila’s relationships across assigned agencies, program offices, and international counterparts.
• Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of RFIs, RFPs, BAAs, FOAs, and related mechanisms, making strategic pursue/no‑pursue decisions.
• Lead opportunities from identification through award and execution hand‑off, collaborating with product, research, and proposal teams.
• Translate Lila’s scientific thesis and autonomous‑science workflows into compelling narratives for federal and international audiences.
• Develop sustained sponsor relationships with program managers and office directors to secure recurring funding and large procurements.
• Contribute to and refine the public‑sector capture playbook, including qualification rubrics and narrative kits.

Required profile

• Proven ability to manage relationships with federal agencies, especially DARPA and ARPA‑H.
• Experience navigating government funding mechanisms such as RFIs, RFPs, BAAs, FOAs, and NOFOs.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to align scientific capabilities with agency missions.
• Track record of converting high‑level engagements into pilots, CRADAs, or major procurements.
