About the role
The Porter is responsible for maintaining the physical appearance and cleanliness of The Varsity College Park student living community. This role supports the service team by ensuring grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for curb appeal and resident satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings, keeping all common areas and amenities neat.
- Remove trash and items from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process, transport waste to dumpsters or storage areas, and maintain those storage spaces.
- Complete minor and routine service requests as directed by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager.
- Assist the make‑ready specialist during apartment turnover activities.
- Change all locks as required to ensure security for new residents.
