Join the University of Miami Police Department as a Police Officer on the Coral Gables campus, providing 24‑hour protection for students, staff and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol the campus and surrounding areas in uniform or as a detective, community officer, canine officer, or problem‑solving team member.
• Respond to emergencies, enforce laws, and protect life and property.
• Provide special services consistent with the university’s mission, including resource officer duties.
• Maintain readiness during severe weather, natural disasters, or hazardous situations as essential personnel.

Required profile

• Qualified law‑enforcement officer able to work rotating four‑day workweeks, including nights and weekends.
• Willingness to serve as essential personnel during campus emergencies.
• Commitment to integrity, dedication, and community service.
