Security Dispatcher – SOC Operator

About the role

The Security Dispatcher (Security Operations Center Operator) joins Discovery Land Company’s Safety & Security Department at Atlantic Fields, outside Hobe Sound, FL. In a fast‑paced environment, you will monitor, track, and coordinate incidents that could affect members, guests, and employees, ensuring a safe and welcoming community.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a concierge‑style security presence for all on‑property individuals.
• Answer routine and emergency calls via phone, email, or radio.
• Monitor alarms, surveillance cameras, and other security systems.
• Document communications and events, escalating critical incidents to supervisors.
• Prevent unauthorized access and dispatch security or emergency personnel as needed.
• Coordinate with internal security teams and external partners during emergencies.
• Support investigations and provide timely updates to requestors.

Required profile

• Prior experience in dispatch, call center, SOC, armed security, law enforcement, or military.
• Valid driver’s license and clear criminal background.
• Ability to remain calm and efficient under high‑stress situations.
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of basic security and fire inspection procedures.
