Pod Lead, Finance and Accounting

About the role

The Protiviti Americas Delivery Center is looking for a Pod Lead (manager) to join its finance and accounting competency. The delivery center offers cost-effective, tech-enabled, standardized services at scale to support Protiviti's global clients, and the lead oversees a team of analysts and senior analysts across several projects.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee a team of analysts and senior analysts through multiple projects, ensuring quality and efficiency
• Lead and implement key initiatives for teams of varying size and complexity
• Ensure high-quality delivery of project requirements and service levels, including project kick-off and closing meetings
• Prepare and review project deliverables and reports
• Handle job administration: status reports, budget to actuals, performance management and performance evaluations for ADC project and delivery teams
• Work with delivery center leadership to provide information and data analysis, and build business relationships with senior executives
• Mentor, coach and supervise team members, conduct performance appraisals and coordinate across teams

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a relevant field, or equivalent relevant work experience
• 5+ years in finance and accounting or related fields, in professional services or industry
• Demonstrated experience executing accounting work and analysis, transaction processing, account reconciliations, data validation and reporting
• Experience in an operationally driven or shared services environment
• Leadership and direct supervisory experience, including mentoring and coaching

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Preferred: experience with accounting software or systems such as SAP or Blackline

What we offer

• Salary range of $86,000-$154,000, with an 8% bonus target (total cash range $92,880-$166,320)
