Financial Crimes Compliance Analyst

About the role

Protiviti's Americas Delivery Center (ADC) in Ohio is looking for an Analyst to join its financial crimes compliance competency. The ADC delivers cost-effective, tech-enabled, standardized services at scale to support Protiviti's global clients, covering Technology, Risk and Compliance, Internal Audit and Financial Advisory, and Business Performance Improvement. The site may carry out research, development, maintenance, testing, validation, reporting and other activities depending on client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess demographic, financial and transactional data for potentially suspicious or unusual activity
• Identify, investigate and escalate red flags linked to anti-money laundering (AML), fraud and financial exploitation typologies
• Research using client systems, open-source public records and third-party investigative tools to build and validate a subject's profile
• Document observations concisely in line with client policies and recommend next steps

Required profile

• High school diploma/GED with related work experience, or a bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a relevant field
• Interest in financial crimes compliance and its trends
• Collaborative, organized, adaptable and able to learn project management concepts
• Hybrid arrangement: work from the ADC in Blue Ash, OH and/or remotely, with possible onsite presence up to 100% depending on the project, and reliable transportation

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Ability to communicate key findings clearly, written and verbally

What we offer

• Salary range of $41,000 to $67,000, depending on experience, skills and location
