About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute is expanding its state‑of‑the‑art facility and needs a Pneumatic Tube Controls Technician to keep critical material transport systems running smoothly during the night shift.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on pneumatic tube carrier systems using hand tools and precision‑measuring instruments.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and electronic components, interpret equipment manuals and schematics, locate faults, and install replacement parts.
  • Document work performed and provide reports as required; occasional work at other Cleveland Clinic locations.

Required profile

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least two years of experience in general facilities maintenance or a related field.
  • Ability to lift, move, and transport items and equipment weighing 100 lb or more.

Required skills

  • Knowledge of pneumatic tube control systems.
  • Experience with electro/mechanic technology troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals.
