Plant Engineering Supply Chain Analyst

About the role

As a Plant Engineering Supply Chain Analyst at 3M, you will work with global teams to improve supply‑chain performance for manufacturing operations. You will support the design, testing, and maintenance of business applications that drive inventory, planning, and logistics processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand knowledge of supply‑chain and corporate systems, providing application and process support in partnership with IT and business users.
• Analyze system requirements, suggest modifications, and manage system releases and updates.
• Use supply‑chain analysis tools and software to interpret data, generate recommendations, and improve performance.
• Create and maintain data sources using corporate‑supported databases and analysis tools.
• Lead implementation projects, guide focused teams, and perform end‑to‑end testing of applications.
• Document processes, audit procedures, and develop training materials in various media (written, web‑based, Lotus Notes).

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED (verified before start).
• At least seven years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Preferred APICS certification.

Required skills

• Supply Chain analysis tools.
• Integrated planning tools.
• Lotus Notes for documentation and communication.
• APICS certification (preferred).
