Planning & Fulfillment Manager (Onsite)

About the role

This Planning & Fulfillment Manager position reports to the Business Manager - Operations and is based onsite in Mebane. The role develops Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), inventory management, resource allocation and short-term planning processes, designs and deploys strategies and best practices for the Planning and Fulfillment function, and optimizes businesses' working capital. It is mainly accountable for planning and fulfillment strategies, S&OP and inventory management processes, and end-to-end lead time and inventory reduction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, communicate and implement planning and fulfillment strategies aligned with the business strategy.
• Deploy and improve S&OP and inventory management best practices across all units in line with the business area strategy.
• Lead end-to-end process optimization to reduce lead times, inventory and sales in excess of invoicing, and improve on-time delivery and fulfillment visibility.
• Identify ways Planning and Fulfillment can add value to other functions and find processes elsewhere that can improve its performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, logistics, materials management or fulfillment operations.
• Proven experience of at least 2 years establishing common operating standards for Planning & Fulfillment across multiple manufacturing units.
• Experience managing change and transformation initiatives.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of ETO business and the end-to-end delivery value chain.
• Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and inventory management.
