Planner

About the role

CooperVision is seeking a Planner to own product inventory and ensure optimal customer service levels. The role focuses on analyzing demand forecasts, executing order releases, and managing the end‑to‑end resupply planning process across global and local supply chain functions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inventory at product and item level to meet availability and optimization goals.
• Execute resupply plans in coordination with packaging, distribution, and manufacturing planning teams.
• Collaborate with Global Supply Chain and Commercial teams on new product launches, lifecycle management, and discontinuations.
• Monitor resupply using CooperVision’s analytics tools, identify priorities, and maintain high customer service standards.
• Communicate risks and opportunities across the supply chain hierarchy and external stakeholders.
• Participate in continuous improvement and change‑management projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve inventory, transactional, or system discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with inventory policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in a related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 5% domestically and internationally.

Required skills

• APICS certification (or in progress).
• CPIM certification (or in progress).
• CSCP certification (or in progress).
