Equipment Operator

About the role

Dematic is looking for a safety‑focused Equipment Operator to support warehouse operations in Henrietta. The role involves operating various powered industrial trucks to move, pick, and count product while maintaining high safety and efficiency standards. Work hours are Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am‑4:30 pm with occasional overtime.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate reach trucks, cherry pickers, and sit‑down forklifts to move and pick product throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload materials from trailers and storage areas, and perform daily equipment inspections.
• Pick, stage, and transport materials according to work orders and inventory systems.
• Assist with inventory counts, cycle audits, and accurately complete paperwork and system entries.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and ensure proper labeling of packages.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience operating powered industrial trucks in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Valid certification or license to operate reach trucks, cherry pickers, and sit‑down forklifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, and SAP.
