Distribution Lead (QIC – 1st Shift)

About the role

The Distribution Lead supports daily warehouse operations on the first shift, acting as a subject‑matter expert and primary trainer for new hires. This full‑time onsite position is based in West Henrietta, NY.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with New Hire Orientation to welcome and onboard employees, providing facility tours and orientation.
• Develop and deliver training plans, cross‑training, retraining, and recertification for new and existing staff.
• Maintain Agile‑related documentation, SOPs, and work instructions in collaboration with the OTC department.
• Assume Distribution Coordinator duties when needed, including operational decision‑making.
• Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) and other warehouse equipment safely.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in distribution, warehouse, or operations environments.
• Prior experience in a lead, trainer, or peer‑mentor role is strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to work extended hours and mandatory overtime as business needs dictate.

Required skills

• Powered industrial truck (PIT) operation.
• Forklift operation.

• Starting base pay between $23.00 and $26.50 per hour, with possible cost‑of‑living adjustments.
