Distribution Coordinator – QIC (2nd Shift)

About the role

The Distribution Coordinator works the 2nd shift in the West Henrietta, NY distribution center, overseeing workflow across picking, packing, and carrier sorting. The role acts as a backup supervisor, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate daily operations in picking (carousel, ADM, PTL, voice picking, RF scanners) and packing (small order, multi‑tote, ASN).
• Manage staffing levels, attendance, and work restrictions to achieve production goals.
• Maintain training matrices, identify skill gaps, and initiate training plans.
• Address employee concerns, document issues, and escalate when necessary.
• Identify process, safety, and quality improvements and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of manufacturing, warehouse or operations experience, including 1–2 years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Strong ability to lead, motivate and coordinate a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication across multiple organizational levels.
• Commitment to safety, quality and company values.

Required skills

• Proficiency with picking technologies: carousel, automatic dispense machine (ADM), pick‑to‑light (PTL), voice picking, RF scanners.
• Experience with packing processes, advanced shipment notice (ASN) handling, and carrier sorting.
• Knowledge of inventory control and private‑label operations.
• Ability to use assigned computer systems for workflow management.
