Placement Analyst

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is looking for a Placement Analyst in Clearwater to help facilitate the marketing and placement process. The role coordinates submissions, gathers documentation and keeps communication flowing with carrier partners and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, organize and submit applications and supporting documentation to insurance carriers.
• Obtain and compare insurance quotes from multiple carriers.
• Assist with gathering underwriting information and ensure submission packages are complete and accurate.
• Process binder requests and maintain policy documentation.
• Assist with proposal preparation, policy binding and the renewal process.
• Track carrier responses, follow up on outstanding items and maintain workflow timelines.
• Coordinate communication between the Placement Specialist, producers, carrier representatives and internal team members.

Required profile

• Current Florida 2-20 license or ability to obtain one.
• Relevant insurance industry education, training or experience.
• Good persuasion and sales skills.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of the Sagitta Agency Management System, or willingness to learn it.
