Physician – Health & Wellness Center

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of New York is seeking a dedicated Physician to join its Health & Wellness Center. You will provide comprehensive medical care to employees, supporting their health, safety, and overall wellbeing in a dynamic, mission‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver medical treatment for work‑related and episodic illnesses and injuries.
• Conduct pre‑employment, periodic, and psychological examinations, and oversee drug‑testing programs.
• Support the Medical Director in managing workers’ compensation and ensure compliance with OSHA and related regulations.
• Develop and present health‑education, disease‑screening, and fitness programs for staff.
• Collaborate with Benefits and Leaves teams to administer medical leave and accommodation processes.
• Advise senior management on employee health, safety, emergency planning, and related contingencies.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification.
• Experience in occupational health, employee health, or a similar clinical setting.
• Ability to work onsite at the Manhattan headquarters and occasional site in East Rutherford, NJ.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with multidisciplinary teams.
