About the role

Ochsner LSU Health System and Louisiana State University Health Science Center in Shreveport are seeking a board‑eligible or board‑certified Endocrinologist for a full‑time academic faculty position. The role involves patient care, teaching, research, and community service within a multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Teach medical students, house staff, and fellows as part of faculty duties.
  • Provide outpatient endocrine clinic care and inpatient consultations across surgical, OB‑GYN, labor and delivery, and psychiatry services.
  • Engage in clinical or laboratory research projects.
  • Participate in community outreach and service activities.

Required profile

  • MD or equivalent terminal degree.
  • Eligibility for a Louisiana medical license.
  • Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.
