Physician Assistant – Neonatology

About the role

Join Lehigh Valley Health Network’s Neonatology team as a Physician Assistant, providing advanced care for newborns in a top‑ranked health system.

Key responsibilities

• Perform neonatal resuscitation and procedures on term, preterm and ELBW infants.
• Assess, diagnose and treat critically ill preterm and term infants.
• Teach Pediatric Residents and NNP students.
• Support parents and guardians in the care of their infants.
• Provide critical care transport of infants via air and ground to the Level IV NICU.

Required profile

• Nationally certified and state licensed Physician Assistant.
• 2+ years experience as a provider in a Level 3 or 4 Neonatal ICU.

Required skills

• Neonatal resuscitation.
• Neonatal procedural skills.
• Clinical assessment and diagnosis of newborns.
• Teaching and mentorship of medical trainees.
• Critical care transport coordination.
