Physician – 10-Month Position at University Health Center

About the role

The University Health Center seeks a full‑time physician to provide comprehensive medical care to students. This is a probationary, exempt position with a 10/12 pay plan, meaning you work ten months and are paid for twelve.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver general medical services, including minor surgery and pelvic examinations, to the student population.
• Mentor and serve as a resource consultant for health‑center staff.
• Collaborate with medical specialists, administrators, faculty, and students.
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health‑record systems.

Required profile

• Medical degree recognized by the California Medical Board.
• Completion of a residency in a primary‑care field (family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, emergency, or preventive medicine) accredited by ACGME or equivalent.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR) certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Electronic health records (EHR) proficiency.

What we offer
