Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) – Home Health

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for part‑time home health visits in Pitt County. You will support adult and geriatric patients in their homes, helping them achieve optimal physical well‑being.

Key responsibilities

• Perform home health visits, providing treatment, tests, and client education under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Document patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.

Required profile

• Current North Carolina licensure or certification as a PTA.
• Graduated from an APTA‑approved two‑year PTA program or equivalent experience with a proficiency exam.
• At least one year of work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.

Required skills

• Knowledge of physical therapy assessment and intervention techniques.
• Ability to follow delegated treatment plans and maintain accurate records.
