Physical Therapy Aide

About the role

Ivy Rehab is looking for Therapy Aides in its Chesapeake, Virginia clinic. The aides help keep the equipment and clinic safe and clean for patients, and support the front office by answering phones, collecting copays, checking patients in and communicating with patients and their families. The clinic provides physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and applied behavior analysis (ABA) services.

Required profile

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and bedside manner
• Strong time management and ability to multi-task
• Proven customer service and patient care experience
• Self-motivated, with flexibility to work varied shifts and possible weekends
• Openness to students in exercise science, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy or anyone interested in healthcare
