Physical Therapist – Outpatient Orthopedic & Sports

About the role

The Physical Therapist will provide specialized outpatient care for orthopedic and sports-related injuries at Willoughby Hills Family Health Center. The role focuses on delivering compassionate, evidence‑based treatment to help patients recover and return to their active lifestyles.

Key responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients' musculoskeletal conditions.
• Develop, revise, and evaluate individualized plans of care based on patient goals and clinical findings.
• Deliver therapy interventions using standard physical therapy techniques appropriate to the patient’s age and condition.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants, students, and other support staff.
• Utilize critical thinking and independent judgment to manage patient care with minimal supervision.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or certificate from an APTA‑accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including lifting and assisting patients.
• Open to new graduates and candidates with clinical experience.
