About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks a PRN Physical Therapist to join the Orthopaedics-Integrated Surgical Institute at Lorain Family Health Surgery Center. This outpatient role focuses on delivering specialized treatment for bones, joints, muscles, and tendons, supporting patients through pain management and rehabilitation.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate and conduct prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
  • Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients’ conditions.
  • Establish, revise, and evaluate plans of care with patient and family involvement.
  • Provide therapy interventions and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, students, and other caregivers.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree or certificate in Physical Therapy.
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Preferred: Five years of physical therapy experience, preferably in a clinical orthopaedic setting.

Required skills

  • Physical therapy assessment and treatment techniques.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) competency.
