About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks a PRN Physical Therapist to join South Pointe Hospital’s inpatient acute care team. You will provide specialized therapy for patients with chronic care, ICU, stroke, vascular and orthopedic needs, creating a compassionate healing environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate and conduct prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
  • Perform initial and ongoing assessments, develop and revise plans of care with patients and families.
  • Deliver therapy interventions and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, students, and other caregivers.
  • Work scheduled shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with a requirement of two weekends per month, with optional additional weekday shifts.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Physical Therapy.
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to meet heavy‑level physical demands, including walking, climbing stairs, lifting patients, and using PPE as required.

Required skills

  • Physical Therapy clinical skills.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) competency.
