Physical Therapist - Inpatient - Acute

About the role

Join the Cleveland Clinic team at Euclid Hospital as an Inpatient Acute Physical Therapist. You will work alongside passionate caregivers to provide patient‑first healthcare, helping patients improve mobility, manage pain, and regain function.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
• Perform initial and ongoing assessments, establish, revise, and evaluate plans of care.
• Deliver physical therapy interventions using standard techniques appropriate for the patient’s age and condition.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants, students, and other support caregivers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Physical Therapy.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Graduate of an APTA‑accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Open to new graduates; experience in an acute setting preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system (preferred).
• Ability to meet heavy physical demands and lift patients safely.
• Clear communication and ability to instruct patients and families.
