Physical Therapist – Inpatient Acute Care (Part‑time)

About the role
The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks a compassionate Physical Therapist to join the Inpatient Acute Care team at Lutheran Hospital. This part‑time position (20 hrs/week) provides evidence‑based treatment to improve patients' strength, mobility, and functional independence.
Key responsibilities
- Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients' conditions.
- Develop, revise, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
- Deliver therapy interventions using standard physical therapy techniques appropriate to patient age and condition.
- Supervise physical therapy assistants, students, and other support personnel.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree or certificate from an APTA‑accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work part‑time with variable shifts, including Sundays and Thursdays.
Required skills
- Standard physical therapy techniques and modalities.
- Strong communication and patient‑relationship skills.
- Physical ability to walk, climb stairs, lift patients, and maintain balance.
