Physical Therapist Assistant – Pediatric Therapy

About the role

A leading national provider of pediatric therapy services seeks a passionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join a multidisciplinary team delivering clinic and community‑based care to infants, toddlers, and children.

Key responsibilities

• Implement customized pediatric treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, using therapeutic exercises, neuromotor activities, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Monitor and document patient progress, report observations to the supervising PT, and educate families on home exercises and adaptive techniques.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate closely with PTs, occupational therapists, speech‑language pathologists, ABA specialists, and support staff to ensure coordinated care.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong ability to engage children and excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with pediatric therapy equipment.
• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
