Physical Security Systems Integration Specialist

About the role

Allied Universal, a security and facility services company, is hiring a Physical Security Systems Integration Specialist for an on-site position in Moline, Illinois. The specialist administers and configures enterprise-level physical security technologies, supporting access control systems, video management platforms and security hardware, and deploying emerging technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Program and configure access control systems, including user credentials, badge management and automated audits
• Set up and configure hardware such as card readers, controllers, cameras and networked devices
• Administer video management systems, including camera configuration, video walls and automated health monitoring
• Help develop scripts and automation tools for monitoring, reporting and compliance checks
• Integrate security systems with IT and factory automation platforms, and deploy AI-driven analytics, IoT devices and cloud solutions
• Perform upgrades, patching and installations with custom scripts, and maintain technical documentation and version control
• Create training for technical staff and end users, gather data for dashboards and reports, and research programming solutions
• Manage service calls, troubleshoot issues, and give weekly status updates to management

Required profile

• Associate's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field with at least 3 years of field installation, networking and security systems experience; or high school diploma with at least 5 years of programming and system administration experience
• Security license (guard certification) issued by the State of Illinois
• At least 3 years of programming experience
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree and certifications such as Lenel Certified Professional or Genetec Technical Certification
