About the role

Join Cleveland Clinic Avon Hospital as a Phlebotomy Technician, working the night shift to support patient care. You will be part of the Medical Laboratory Team, helping patients feel at ease while collecting required blood specimens.

Key responsibilities

Perform blood collection procedures following venipuncture protocols and maintain accurate log sheets.
Verify patient orders and identifying information, label all specimens, and deliver them to the appropriate processing area.
Process specimens including accessioning, centrifugation, and packaging, and transport samples and lab supplies as needed.

Required profile

High School Diploma or GED.
Technical proficiency with standard phlebotomy procedures and ability to troubleshoot in a team environment.
Formal Phlebotomy Certification or graduation from an accredited phlebotomy program (preferred).
