About the role
The Phase II Construction Manager oversees the final stages of home building, from sheetrock taping and finishing to full home completion, ensuring quality and timely delivery for Perry Homes in Fulshear, TX.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate independent contractors across multiple job sites.
- Order and manage construction materials, monitoring quantity and quality.
- Maintain Perry Homes quality standards throughout the Phase II process.
- Manage construction timelines, overhead costs, budget variances, and change orders.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by the Project Manager, Vice President of Construction, or Division President.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Relevant management or leadership experience in construction.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with contractors and homeowners.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple concurrent tasks.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, construction plans, and local building codes.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and a compliant truck.
