Pharmacy Technician – Behavioral Health Pharmacy

About the role

Join Genoa Healthcare, a part of Optum, as a Pharmacy Technician supporting the mental health and specialty pharmacy. You will work under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, dispensing prescriptions and handling clerical duties in a collaborative care environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and clinic staff.
• Fill prescription orders and prepare them for pharmacist verification.
• Order, receive, store, and manage pharmacy supplies and medication inventory.
• Process wholesaler medication orders and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Assist the pharmacist in ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Perform various clerical duties and communicate professionally both verbally and in writing.

Required profile

• Active, unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Texas.
• Access to reliable transportation.
