Pharmacy Student PRN

About the role

This position compounds IV admixtures and other pharmacy preparations using aseptic technique, maintains stock in the IV room and central pharmacy, fills medication orders accurately, and enters ADR data into the computer system.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare IV admixtures and extemporaneous compounds following sterile procedures.
• Stock and fill medication orders in the IV room, central pharmacy, and related areas.
• Complete assignments and projects while adapting communication to diverse patient populations.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
• Support the pharmacy team by performing related duties as required.

Required profile

• Enrolled in good standing in an accredited College of Pharmacy or a graduate who passed the NABP Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination.
• Current Pharmacy Intern Permit from the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Experience using standard pharmacy and office equipment.

Required skills

• Computer skills for data entry and retrieval.
• Proficiency with Windows‑style applications.
• Ability to operate standard pharmacy equipment.
• IV admixture preparation techniques.
