Pharmacy Clinical Specialist – Neurology Ambulatory

About the role

The Pharmacy Clinical Specialist – Neurology Ambulatory will be embedded within the neurology outpatient clinic at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, providing direct patient care for complex neurological and immune‑mediated disorders, primarily multiple sclerosis.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care and medication management for neurology patients, including disease‑modifying therapy optimization.
• Collaborate with neurologists, advanced practice providers, nurses, and care coordinators under a collaborative practice agreement.
• Support treatment initiation, transitions, medication safety, and access.
• Participate in research, quality‑improvement initiatives, and education of pharmacy learners.

Required profile

• PharmD or Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (or eligible within 90 days).
• Completion of a PGY2 residency or PGY1 plus two years of relevant experience, or four years of relevant experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and immunization administration certification (or obtain within 90 days).
