Pharmacist – Inpatient Rehabilitation

About the role

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join its inpatient rehabilitation team. You will ensure safe medication use, support patient recovery, and contribute to the development of pharmacy policies within a nationally recognized health system.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations to meet patient and customer expectations.
• Develop and maintain pharmacy‑specific policies and procedures in compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory standards.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, providing medication‑related expertise to improve patient outcomes.
• Accurately interpret, compound, and dispense medications according to legal and professional standards.

Required profile

• Current state pharmacy board licensure in good standing for the state where the hospital is located.
• Degree from an accredited pharmacy program or equivalent.
• At least one year of supervisory experience preferred.
