Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist – Dry Eye Portfolio (Remote, NY)

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist to lead the Dry‑Eye portfolio in the Manhattan North, NY territory. This remote, field‑based position focuses on building trusted partnerships with ophthalmologists, optometrists, and allied health professionals while driving growth of Alcon’s ocular health solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory business plans to achieve sales objectives.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key eye‑care providers and decision‑makers.
• Educate customers on Alcon’s pharmaceutical portfolio through clinical discussions and presentations.
• Conduct regular in‑person visits, speaker programs, and customer events.
• Identify growth opportunities using market trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence.
• Collaborate with Medical Science Liaisons, Market Access, Marketing, and Regional Sales Leadership.
• Utilize data and insights to create account strategies that drive results.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (high school + 10 years, associate + 6 years, or M.S.).
• Minimum 2 years of proven pharmaceutical or medical sales experience.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% within the assigned territory.
