Petroleum Transport Driver (Fredericksburg, VA)

About the role

Petroleum Transport Drivers are essential to keeping communities fueled by safely loading, unloading, and delivering gasoline, diesel, and ethanol to retail and commercial locations. This position operates on a daily home‑stay schedule and requires strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Load, secure, transport, and unload petroleum products in compliance with DOT and HazMat regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and paperwork.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.
• Follow assigned routes, schedules, and delivery windows while ensuring on‑time service.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including use of personal protective equipment.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of Class A driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and HazMat endorsements.
• TWIC card for operations in FL, TN, SC, and VA.
• Ability to work night shifts and handle overtime as needed.
