Personal Trainer – Early Mornings

About the role

The YMCA seeks a passionate Personal Trainer for early‑morning sessions to help members achieve holistic health goals. You will build relationships, guide clients, and support the YMCA’s mission of community well‑being.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a personal training clientele through one‑on‑one and small‑group sessions.
• Demonstrate proper exercise form, track client progress, and follow up regularly.
• Promote personal training services via outreach, demos, and events.
• Maintain equipment, adhere to YMCA policies, and support gym floor operations as needed.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, friendly, and reliable with strong communication skills.
• Ability to create safe, effective programs and assess member needs.
• Commitment to an inclusive environment for all members.

Required skills

• Nationally accredited certification (e.g., NSCA, ACSM, NASM).
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
• Proficiency with member management software for tracking and communication.
