Permanency Team Supervisor - Decatur

About the role

The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional and energetic Permanency Team Supervisor in Decatur. Under administrative direction, the supervisor plans, reviews and coordinates the activities of a team of professional staff delivering child welfare services to children and families, monitors progress toward case goals and sets up a system for regular clinical review of services. The position is full time, salaried, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm, with a hybrid schedule of 4 to 5 days per week in the office, and is a union position.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, review and coordinate the work of a team of professionals providing child welfare services to children and families
• Monitor progress in meeting case goals and objectives
• Establish and implement a system ensuring direct, regular clinical review of services is provided to children and families

Required profile

• Excellent organizational skills and strong leadership capabilities
• Passion for children and interest in leading a team of child welfare professionals focused on keeping children safe
• Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; the state does not sponsor visas
