CNA / Caregiver - Part Time (2pm-10pm Shift)

About the role

Kisco Senior Living's Sagewood at Daybreak is looking for a CNA / caregiver for a part-time 2pm-10pm shift. The CNA delivers quality care by encouraging independence and supporting each resident's physical, social, cultural and intellectual well-being.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with simple requests as needed
• Supervise or assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, ambulation and other activities
• Provide companionship and build strong resident relationships
• Respond to emergencies according to policies and procedures
• Document care provided to residents
• Help keep resident individual service plans current
• Review the 24-hour report and care checklists regularly

Required profile

• High school education or GED equivalent preferred
• Nursing assistant course completion
• First Aid certification and CPR, if required
• Must meet state training requirements and/or certifications; CNA certification preferred
• Team player who brings a positive attitude to work
