Night Operations Coordinator

About the role

Ronald McDonald House Atlanta is looking for a Night Operations Coordinator for its House Operations department. The role supports safe, efficient House operations during evening and overnight hours and provides shift coverage and operational support for House, Evening, Night and Weekend Managers. It is a full-time, on-site position, Monday to Friday, 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. when not covering an alternate shift, with flexibility for evenings, nights and weekends required.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine House walkthroughs and facility inspections, update maintenance records, keep the environment neat and clean, and adhere to health and safety standards.
• Supervise cleaning or maintenance tasks, carry out emergency repairs, keep storage areas tidy, and monitor fire alarms, smoke detectors and phone systems.
• Cover shifts for House Managers and manage office operations, referrals, room assignments and guest check-in/check-out.
• Coordinate with hotel partners for overflow lodging, maintain guest data, and respond promptly to calls and inquiries.
• Track inventory, support room checks and daily walkthroughs, document maintenance and housekeeping needs, and complete in-kind donation records.
• Maintain professional communication with hospital referral staff, follow accounting procedures and documentation protocols, and promote awareness of the House.

Required profile

• College degree and work experience in Human Services.
• Experience working with infirm or disabled children and families.
• Good general health and the ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, with frequent walking, standing and stair climbing.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure, meet multiple deadlines and multitask.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of computers, including Microsoft 365 and database programs.
