Performance Nutrition Fellow

About the role

The Performance Nutrition Fellow supports the Athletic Department’s nutrition program, assisting with education, fueling operations, research, and resource development for student‑athletes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Performance Nutrition team with daily tasks, including individual counseling, team education, supplement guidance, and body‑composition analysis.
• Manage fueling stations: oversee product inventory, ordering, and coordinate student workers for receiving and distribution.
• Research current peer‑reviewed literature and industry practices related to athletic performance nutrition.
• Develop and implement nutrition education materials and resources for student‑athletes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, exercise physiology, kinesiology, or a related field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) and Licensed Dietitian (LD) credentials, or eligibility to obtain them within three months of hire.
• Experience in collegiate or professional athletics is preferred.
• Ability to work non‑traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Excellent organizational and customer‑service skills.
