About the role

Join the Cleveland Clinic Health System at Indian River Hospital as a Per Diem Registered Nurse on the 4 East Medical/Surgical unit. This night‑shift position provides flexible, PRN work supporting diverse patient populations in a collaborative, high‑tech environment.

Key responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care and implement, monitor, and update patient care plans.
Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and follow physician and nursing orders.
Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients’ conditions.
Assess and coordinate discharge needs and educate patients and families.
Work varying night hours (approximately 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) with weekend and holiday coverage.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
Current state RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
At least one year of acute care RN experience (military RN experience considered).
Physical ability to perform patient handling, stand, walk, and work under stressful, irregular hours.
