Per Diem Physical Therapist - Weekdays and Weekends

About the role

Jupiter Medical Center, ranked #1 for safety, quality and patient satisfaction in Palm Beach County, is hiring a Physical Therapist for per diem work on weekdays and weekends. The therapist delivers therapy services in a team environment, with minimal supervision, and contributes to program development, quality improvement and productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Provide assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions for patients
• Develop treatment plans and supervise assistants and aides
• Contribute to case management and provide quality patient care
• Maintain positive interactions with patients and co-workers
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Florida
• American Heart Association BLS certification for health care providers
• Ability to stand or sit for 2 hours or more per day; inpatient/sub-acute rehab staff must also be able to stand and walk intermittently for 4 hours or more per day
• Completion of annual Joint Commission mandatory education, in-service and health requirements, including new employee orientation, and maintenance of professional license
