People & Culture Assistant

About the role

The People & Culture Assistant at Four Seasons Hotel Nashville supports the overall employee experience by driving wellbeing, enrichment and recognition initiatives. Working closely with People & Culture, Learning & Development and Talent Acquisition, the role helps create a positive, inclusive environment for all team members.

Key responsibilities

• Curate and coordinate employee engagement activities, workshops, and skill‑building sessions in collaboration with People & Culture and Learning & Development leadership.
• Support recruitment and staffing processes in partnership with the Talent Acquisition Manager.
• Assist in the development and implementation of wellness initiatives that promote physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.
• Coordinate employee birthday celebrations and special events.
• Administer employee recognition programs, including awards and appreciation initiatives.
• Act as a liaison between employees and management to foster open communication and engagement.
• Collaborate with department leaders to organize team‑building activities, social events, and community service projects.
• Track, monitor, and manage expenses within the assigned budget.
• Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.

Required profile

• Strong organizational ability to coordinate multiple employee engagement initiatives.
• Experience supporting recruitment and staffing activities.
• Capability to assist in wellness program development.
• Skill in planning and executing celebrations and special events.
• Proficiency in administering recognition and appreciation programs.
• Effective communication to serve as a liaison between staff and management.
• Collaboration skills for working with department leaders on team‑building and community projects.
• Attention to detail for expense tracking and purchase order processing.
