- Support customer negotiations by preparing redlines and comments that explain Amgen's positions and rationale.
- Partner with Account Management, Legal, Pricing and other stakeholders to resolve drafting questions and incorporate agreed changes.
- Manage multiple drafting assignments through review, revision and approval, keeping version control and status updates.
- Maintain accurate contract records and key terms in the contract lifecycle management (CLM) system.
- Contribute to improving contract templates, drafting standards, playbooks and processes, and support audits and litigation documentation.
- Work with the CLM system team on process and system improvements.
Required profile

- Preferred: previous contract-writing experience, ideally in pharma, biotechnology or healthcare, and familiarity with the U.S. commercial and government healthcare reimbursement environment.
- Preferred: proven ability to handle complex priorities accurately, negotiate and collaborate across functions, and communicate complex information to senior management.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and other digital tools for contract drafting and document management.
- Aptitude for learning and using emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools.
What we offer
- Health, dental and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, and a retirement savings plan with company contributions.
- Discretionary annual bonus or sales-based incentive plan, stock-based long-term incentives, and flexible work models where possible.
