Patient Support Nurse

About the role

The Patient Support Nurse will serve oncology patients and their caregivers remotely, guiding them through the end‑to‑end journey of the oncology program. This position focuses on providing approved information, education, and resources while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for patients, caregivers, and healthcare‑provider staff, delivering approved oncology‑specific education and benefit discussions.
• Provide treatment education using approved FAQs and talking points; avoid giving medical advice.
• Facilitate warm transfers to specialty pharmacy, medical information, or other program stakeholders when inquiries fall outside the role’s scope.
• Adhere to all corporate training deadlines, SOPs, and confidentiality requirements.
• Complete miscellaneous tasks or projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Eligibility to obtain nursing licensure in all 50 U.S. states.
• Ability to type at least 35 WPM with 97 % accuracy.
• Comfortable working remotely in a professional office environment, with frequent phone communication and extended periods of sitting.
• Willingness to travel up to 25 % of the time, if needed.

Required skills

• Proficient typing speed (≥35 WPM) with high accuracy.
